It Works
How
Whether you are hoping to connect for a few nutrition sessions, a one-time consultation, or nutrition coaching, Tylynn will send you paperwork to complete before your first meeting and have you create a profile in Practice Better (an electronic medical record system). She will create an appointment for the agreed upon time. In the first session, she will conduct a nutrition assessment and create a plan to meet your specific nutrition needs.
Unfortunately Tylynn does not accept insurance. There are several reasons for this: 1) insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for nutrition services up to 90 days (a long time when you are a solo practitioner), 2) insurance companies decide who gets reimbursement and often deny claims, and 3) it is a process to get in-network with insurance companies and Tylynn dedicates the time she would spend talking with insurance providers to her clients and focusing on providing the best possible care.
