My

Story

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in my late 20’s. Consequently, I have become an expert in living gluten-free as there is no cure for this disease and the only treatment is to follow a gluten-free diet. I believe any person diagnosed with Celiac Disease could benefit from nutrition coaching for further understanding of how to be gluten-free but also ongoing support for navigating a HUGE lifestyle change.

I struggled with disordered eating in college and am a suicide survivor. It took me years of my own therapy to work through generational traumas, having been raised in a low-income family, and perfectionism. I share this because I am passionate about breaking down the stigmas associated with mental health and offer hope that life does get better.

The picture attached is of me completing the Overnight in San Francisco: a 16-mile walk throughout the night to raise money for suicide awareness and prevention. If you are interested in learning more about The Overnight, please visit https://afsp.org/
